"I own a small business that I started in 1996. The business grew with the housing market over the first 10 years. These years were great , we had to work hard but we found that as long as we completed work properly and on time, word of mouth was all we needed to keep work flowing and the company growing. In 2005 we employed seven full time employees and twenty part-time employees. The past two years have been very difficult. The housing market has been very bad. I have had to lay off employees and downsize my business. We are currently expanding our products to be more diverse and competitive in the recent economy. With this I feel anything I can learn at NC can only help my chances of building a better, stronger company for the future. "
" I also have five children in my home that I talk to daily about how important education is in life. My oldest son is a junior in college, and my daughter is a freshman at an out of state university. I was starting to feel like I was falling behind. Looking back on the past twelve years I kick myself for not taking the time to educate myself more. Hopefully it's not too late. If I can complete the courses and receive my degree it will be my first degree not my last. I feel invigorated about taking this first step, I have new found optimism on my future."

"Classes are great! I love them. I have a 100% in my Success Strategies class and a 98% in the Introduction to Criminal Justice course. It was a little difficult staying on top of the homework because of my work schedule this past month but our busy season just ended so I'm hoping it will get easier. My instructors are great as well. They make themselves available as if they were conducting classes in an actual classroom setting, which is extremely comforting. "

"So far, things have been going very well, teachers have been very nice, helpful and informative. I really like the set up of the Angel web page and I can navigate my way around pretty well. I like the fact that there is a 24 hour service to call in case you are having a problem with finding something for class or helping you with any questions that you have when it comes to the website. Other than that, I am very happy that I chose to go here and everyone has just been great to me!"
