Financial Aid
There is a Financial Aid program to suit almost every need. At Northwestern College, we are here to make this process easy to understand and as stress free as possible for you.
Northwestern College Online has a Financial Aid staff that will work with you to clarify loan and grant opportunities, help with required paperwork, and make sure you get the maximum assistance for which you qualify.
You may be eligible to receive Federal Financial Assistance in the form of student loans or grants. Northwestern College utilize the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to determine award amounts.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
You can complete your FAFSA online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
In order to complete the FAFSA online, you will need two very important codes. Here is how to obtain the information to proceed with an online FAFSA:
- Register for a PIN (personal identification number) with the U.S. Department of Education. Your PIN will serve as your electronic signature on all future Federal Financial Aid documents completed online.
You can apply for a PIN by visiting this website: http://www.pin.ed.gov
- Enter the school code for Northwestern College. When completing the online version of the FAFSA, you will be asked for Northwestern College’s code. Enter 012362 for this question.
